LEGACY+MODERNISM.

A project developed for William Saah, in collaboration with Angolan designer Enzo de Carvalho Sabino, exploring a simple question: what happens when African art enters a space shaped by the codes of Western modernism?

Through the Legacy and Modernism series, the project places two cultural and spatial systems in tension. The scenography deconstructs perspectives and plays with scale, shadows and spatial ambiguity, gradually moving the visitor from cultural collision towards a space of encounter.
